The game allows you to roam freely through the environment as you complete missions, catch new Pokemon, and level up your existing Pokemon. Like most freemium games for Android, in MonsterSaga Pokemon you can participate in daily events, join guilds, craft materials, and of course, spend as much time as you want working through the slow game progression typical of this genre.
Although most Pokemon game have a turn-based combat system, the bulk of the battles on MonsterSaga Pokemon are in real time, and you'll directly control your Pokemon using virtual controls on the screen while fighting multiple enemies in a closed areNa. As you progress through the game, you can unlock new abilities to use in combat, but keep in mind that they have a set cool down time.
MonsterSaga Pokemon is an unofficial Pokemon game from Asia, and although its licensing is questionable at best, Pokemon fans -or mobile MMO fans in general- will definitely enjoy its great gameplay.
